V. Elaine Dearing, age 74, passed away Nov. 11, 1998. Survived by her husband, Orville M. Dearing, of the family home- daughter, Barbara Ridgley, and her husband, David- grandson, Sean Ridgley, Fort Collins, Colo.- and brother, Beech Maury, Albuquerque, N.M. Preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Dearing. Mrs. Dearing was a 50-year member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International, Pueblo Aerie 145 Ladies Auxiliary (FOE) and the AARP. Funeral service, Monday, 10 a.m., First Baptist Church, Ninth and Grand. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to First Baptist Church Memorial Fund or to Epsilon Sigma Alpha International in care of the funeral home office.

Orville M. Dearing, age 79, passed away May 11, 1999. Survived by daughter,Barbara and her husband, David Ridgley, Fort Collins- grandson, Sean Ridgley-sisters, Myrble Petty and Marjorie Smith, both of Borger, Texas- and numerousnieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Elaine Dearing, Nov. 11, 1998-daughter, Linda- and 11 brothers and sisters. Mr. Dearing was a member ofFirst Baptist Church - Christian Challengers Sunday school class. He served inthe Army Air Force three years plus 10 months overseas in World War II, 336Squadron receiving the presidential citation, the distinguished flying cross,good conduct medal and numerous oak leaf clusters. He was also a member of theFraternal Order of Eagles No. 145, former member of Steel City Kiwanis Club,counselor for Boy Scout Troop of America and served one term as President ofthe Local 1335 Am. Fed. State and County Employees. Mr. Dearing retired fromPueblo Social Services in 1985 after 35 years of service as a supervisor. Heloved fishing, hunting, hiking, the mountains, theater and music. Funeralservice, Friday, 10 a.m., First Baptist Church, Ninth and Grand. Interment,Mountain View Cemetery with full military honors. In lieu of food,contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church memorial fund.
