The amount of coverage on your policy should be the current market value of your manufactured home, plus any improvements. Improvements do not include landscaping, septic tanks or the value of the land. For example, if a storm destroyed a 1990 manufactured home, the insurance company may pay enough to replace a 1990 model like what was lost, not a brand new model at market price today. Some companies increase your coverage for inflation purposes each year.
