Update: Feb, 2006 "Over the next year, I plan to transition my law practice to my home office and just work from home starting summer of 2007. The wife and I and my youngest son are planning a 6 week motorcycle adventure to Alaska this summer - going all the way to the Artic Circle and back. Will let you know more as the trip firms up."
"Hi guys - haven't kept up on the local Pueblo news and whats happened to our teachers and classmates as I should. My mom still lives on the NE side and we get down to visit her several times a year.
I have my own law practice, primarily environmental and natural resources law (mining and oil and gas). My web site is
www.petekeppler.com. Been on my own for about 5 years, after spending 20 years with a mining company (Amax, Inc.) and 6 years with a large law firm. My office is in Lakewood and home is in Golden (near the Coors brewery). Our main R&R activity is motorcycling (touring) - were active in the
Gold Wing Road Riders Association (I'm president of our local chapter) and support members of the
Colorado Wings Motorcycle Drill Team.
"Here's a recent photo of April Hansen (my significant other) on her trike and me on my motorcycle. This was in Custer State Park South Dakota over Memorial Day Weekend."
I have three sons from a prior marriage. The oldest is married and has a little girl, 18 months. All three are doing well; none have grown up to be lawyers. My current significant other, April Hansen, is a semi-retired legal secretary, she still works part-time. She rides her own motorcycle, a three-wheel Honda Gold Wing, which is what I ride. Looking forward to the time when we can ride off into the sunset without having to worry about coming back to work!!
Would like to hear from you. Any talk about organizing a 45 year reunion (in 2005)? If we wait until 50, I'm afraid a lot of our classmates won't be able to make it.
Regards, Peter Keppler"
