I graduated from Colorado State in 1966 and finished my dietetic internship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL. in 1967. I stayed in Chicago for another year for my first job. I moved to Denver in 1968 and spent two enjoyable years working there close to my family. I moved to Atlanta in the fall of 1970 to work at Emory University Hospital. There I met Tom who was in seminary at Emory. We were married on Oct. 19, 1972. Tom is a United Methodist minister in the Mississippi Conference and I am a Registered Dietitian at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. We have two sons. John is 26 and a microbiologist in Kentucky. Mark is 22 and a senior Civil Engineering student at MS State University.
